Cultural Day at Lagooz School was nothing short of colorful, exciting, and deeply inspiring! It was a day set aside to celebrate our rich cultural heritage and our students made it one to remember.

The school came alive as students and teachers arrived dressed in their beautiful native attires, proudly representing the diverse tribes that make up our great nation. From the elegant Yoruba aso-oke, to the vibrant Igbo isi-agu, and the stylish Hausa babanriga, every corner of the school radiated with cultural pride and beauty.

The day was filled with indigenous performances, traditional dances, drama presentations, and cultural displays that showcased the uniqueness of each tribe. Students and staff also had the opportunity to taste different traditional dishes brought from various ethnic groups, including amala and ewedu, ofe nsala, tuwo shinkafa, edikaikong, and many more.

Beyond the fun and festivity, the event reminded everyone that our strength truly lies in our diversity. It was a powerful moment of learning, laughter, and unity , where we all agreed that despite our different languages, foods, and traditions, we are one people, one nation, and one family.

At Lagooz School, we don’t just educate minds — we celebrate culture, build respect, and nurture global citizens who value their roots.
