The start of a new school session can be exciting, but it may also take some time for children to get used to being back in school, especially after a long holiday. A little support at home can make the transition much easier.
Start by helping your child return to a regular routine before school resumes. Set a reasonable bedtime, encourage them to wake up early, and make sure they have enough time to get ready each morning. Preparing school items the night before can also help reduce the usual morning rush.
Take some time to talk with your child about the new session. Find out what they are looking forward to, what they hope to achieve, and whether anything is making them feel worried. Sometimes, simply listening can make a big difference.
You can also remind them that they do not have to get everything right immediately. A new session is a chance to learn, improve, meet new people, and try new things. Encourage them to take each day as it comes and ask for help whenever they need it.
We look forward to welcoming all our students back to Lagooz Schools and supporting them throughout another successful academic session.
